1998 nascar f150 need help finding out why it run bad in hot weather but great in cold weather?
i have a 1998 nascar edition f 150 it run like crap when its hot outside but when its cold out it runs very strong like a different truck i have cleaned the maf it is a well maintained truck it has been on a scanner it pulls up no codes the engien light does not come on i just cant figure it out please help in any way possible
check out the fuel pump it mayn be alittle weak, i had a regular f150 and it did this too , as well as a ranger.
and winter ran sweet but summer it was like crappy and i chenges the fuel pump and
it worked because it uses the fuel to keep it cool and it was some how warm out enough to not help the fuel pump cool off. after changing it i had no probs.
