Tim Flock was the only person to drive in a sactioned race with a pet monkey, “Jocko Flocko”, by his side. Tiny Lund stopped in the middle of a race to pull a fellow driver from a burning wreck, later he was rewarded by being put in the driver’s seat of the injured man’s car the next week where he gained his one and only victory in NASCAR.
Davey Alison’s Father told him that he couldn’t race until he first finished high school and got a diploma, so what did he do, Davey attended summer school and took extra classes and graduated ahead of schedule to that he could go ahead and get behind the wheel and make his dreams come true.
